Ammenities
Cedar Cottage is our second home, and as such we have it fully equipped with everything we need to feel comfortable. However, we ask that you bring some things for your stay and you may want to bring other things as well.
Please remember to bring:
- Sheets and pillowcases - there are 2 queen beds, 2 twin beds, and one full-size futon
- Towels - bath and beach
- Other things that you might want to bring include:
- Bug spray
- Binoculars
- DVDs
- Shoes or boots that you can hike in
- Umbrella, sunscreen, camera, sun hat
- If you have small children - toys, a stair gate, high chair, and bed rails will all be necessary, as these are not provided. Twin waterproof mattress covers are provided (in the attic bedroom closet) and must be used with young children.

Kitchen & Dining
- Pots, pans, utensils, knives, cutlery, dishes
- Range with oven
- Dishwasher
- Small and large drip coffee makers, plus pour over and filters
- Small fridge in the kitchen, large fridge in the basement
- Basic supplies like salt, pepper, sugar, olive oil, some spices, etc
- Four gallons of bottled Marquette City water for drinking (the water is safe to drink, but it has a high iron content and tastes like it to some)
- Large table that comfortably seats up to 8 people

- One roll of toilet paper

- The main level bathroom has a clawfoot tub and the basement bathroom has a shower
- The basement bathroom also has a handful of essentials in case you forget them: toothbrushes, tooth paste, floss, soap, tampons and pads, etc.
