Hi! We’re Karen and Rick, the proud owners of Cedar Cottage.

In the summer of 2011, we were planning a two-month sabbatical near Marquette—Rick to write his doctoral thesis, and Karen to relax and reconnect with friends—when a search for a dog-friendly rental led us to an unfinished cottage on Lake Superior. From the moment we stepped inside, we saw the potential to create something truly special.
