We rent out the cottage during the spring, summer, and fall—typically from late May through mid-October. Reservations are made in one-week increments (7 days, 14 days, etc.), with check-in after 4pm and check-out before 10am on Fridays.
Over the years, we’ve built a community of trusted guests who return annually, incorporating a regular stay at the cottage into their lives. Each October, we send out an email with rates and available dates for the upcoming season. Guests then reply with their preferred week(s), and we do our best to accommodate everyone. Once dates are confirmed, we send a Rental Agreement and collect a booking deposit.
If you'd like to join our mailing list for the 2026 season, please email us at cedarcottageup@gmail.com with a brief introduction about yourself and your group—we enjoy getting to know our guests before welcoming them into our home. We do not rent Cedar Cottage out for parties, large groups, or events. To help preserve the integrity of the cottage and respect our neighbors, we are selective with our bookings.
